Shooting for Chashme Baddoor was like a picnic: Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu, who makes her Bollywood debut with Chashme Buddoor remake, says that shooting for David Dhawan-directed film was so much fun that she and her co-star felt they were on a picnic.
Chashme Baddoor - a remake of the 1981 comedy Chashme Buddoor - is set for release on April 5. The movie stars Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Anupam Kher, Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Divyendu Sharma. “It was an entertainment zone. We shot in Goa and it was like a picnic, a paid holiday for us,”
says the 25-year-old, who hopes to get appreciation from the audience. “It is my first film so be ready to see a new girl in Bollywood,” she adds.
A remake of the 1981-classic of the same name, the new version also stars Ali Zafar, Divyendu Sharma and Siddharth, and releases today.
