With seven films, four blockbusters and just one flop, Sonakshi Sinha has made a distinct place in Bollywood, where the destiny of a star changes every Friday. The actress has even managed to impress critics with her acting prowess in her recent release Lootera. As the actress completes three years in the film industry, we map her journey so far.

Five out of her seven films have done well at the BO and four of them even managed to enter 100 cr club. People might debate that none of the films offered her scope for performance, but the lady was able to leave the mark in her own way.

First, she brought back the traditional Indian woman on screen. Second, she managed to deliver hit after hit, not succumbing to the pressures of exposing on silver screen. Third, her old-world charms gave her an opportunity to work with the super-successful relatively older actor.

The actress' dressing sense as well as limited acting range came under scanner many a time. But she remained undeterred with all the criticism, taking cool and calculated steps, one at a time.

Her recent film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara opposite Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan might not have done well at the BO, but the actress' track record still remains brilliant.

Starting out with Dabangg (2010) opposite Salman Khan, the actress not only impressed critics with her screen presence, but also wooed the masses with her typical Indian latkas and jhatkas. The film grossed Rs. 140 cr.

The actress' Rowdy Rathore (2012) with Akshay Kumar also minted moolah at the box-office. It earned not less than Rs. 133 cr.

Joker's debacle, however, interrupted Sonakshi Sinha's success run at the BO, with the film being declared a mega-flop.

The lady recovered with Son of Sardaar (2012) opposite Ajay Devgn and re-entered 100 cr club with aplomb. The film's overall collection was Rs. 105.03 cr. Dabangg 2 came soon after and Sonakshi 'Rajjo' Sinha did it again! The film grossed Rs. 155 cr in the domestic market.

With Lootera, the actress re-discovered herself. She came out of her comfort zone and that paid! She got critical acclaim as well as box-office success. The film was not a mega-hit though.

The actress shared her excitement of completing three years in Bollywood on micro-blogging site Twitter: "3 years to Dabangg today and im starting work on my 11th film already.. How time flies!!! Thank YOU all for the steady support and love! I wouldn't be here without it :)"

Coming up next is Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullet Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan, Rambo Rajkumar opposite Shahid Kapoor, AR Murugadoss' Pistol opposite Akshay Kumar and Prabhudeva's next opposite Ajay Devgn.

We hope Sonakshi continues her dream run at the box office.
