Sonakshi Sinha in a dance sequence from the film.
It’s going to be a perfect family picture, literally. How else would you explain Sonakshi Sinha’s presence in brother Kush’s directorial debut? Although she insists that things are in the initial stages, the Dabangg actor admits she will do anything for her family.
“Hopefully, Kush will
direct soon, but it’s too early to say anything about it. He surely wants to (direct) a film and I would love to be a part of it,” says a guarded Sonakshi, adding, “After all, he is my brother, and I’d do anything for my family.”
Tell Sonakshi that we have confirmed news about her starring in the film and she says, “It goes without saying that I will be a part of it.”
But how will she sort her dates since she is busy with multiple projects next year? “Obviously, it (the film) will be adjusted according to my schedules. Since it’s in the initial stages, I think we have a lot of time to work out things till both of us are completely ready. We haven’t confirmed the final details yet. It will take some time,” says the doting sister, whose next release is Joker with Akshay Kumar.
Kush has earlier assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Saawariya (2007) and Abhinav Kashyap on Dabangg (2010). His directorial debut is likely to start only in 2013. Besides Sona, the film might also star his twin brother Luv, who made his Bollywood debut with Sadiyaan (2010), which failed at the box office.

Ask Sonakshi about the buzz that Luv is acting in Akshay’s Khiladi 786 and she says, “Not that I know of.” But he tweeted about being on Akki’s film sets. “Actually, he knows Ashish (Mohan; director), so he was hanging out with him. He isn’t acting in the film.”
Finally, talking about her dad’s recent hospitalidation, she says: “My father is fine. He just had an allergic reaction after we shifted back into our renovated house (in Juhu). He is still under observation, but much better now.”

Sonakshi Sinha
She shot to fame even before she was seen on screen. Sonakshi Sinha didn't make headlines just because she was film star Shatrughan Sinha's daughter but also because she made her debut cast was opposite Bollywood biggie Salman Khan in the blockbuster hit Dabangg.
