Amul Star Voice Of India 2 is also Sukhwinder Singh's first endeavour as a judge. Sukhwinder is a renowned Bollywood playback singer with the hit song Chaiyya Chaiyya to his credit for which he also won the 'Best Male Playback' award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. He gave his maiden stage performance at the age of 7 years and later joined Laxmikant-Pyarelal's troupe as a music arranger.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for April 6 and will be hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. It will also see power-packed performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan, among others.
