Anushka Sharma and Imran Khan will be seen romancing onscreen for the first time in Vishal Bhardwaj's next Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. The film is a comedy drama film written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
With little buzz around Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Vishal Bhardwaj's next directorial venture, the trailer of the movie has hit the web.

Wondering what the title is all about? Imran plays Matru, Anushka is Bijlee and Pankaj Kapur plays Mandola. There's a gulabi bhains too at the
end of the trailer.

Touted as a comedy film, Matru... presents Imran Khan in an all-new rugged avatar.

The new look is not a secret though. The actor has been making appearances sporting the look for a long time now. So far, this seems to be his first performance-oriented role.

Anushka Sharma plays the role of Bijlee and dances like one. She has the energy and she has the charm.

Pankaj Kapur as Mandola is spontaneous and fun.
