She may have just tied the knot with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, but actor Vidya Balan is very clear that her film career won’t suffer after marriage. “I’ve been an actor all my life, in my head and heart, before people got to know me. I don’t see myself giving this up for anything. And
there’s so much more to do...,” says the 35-year-old in Vogue India’s January http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/popup/2012/12/VidyaBalan.jpgedition.

Films, she says, have given her a lot, most importantly the ability to be comfortable in her skin. “It wasn’t until I joined films that I began to enjoy my sensuality. I realised that it had little to do with the way you looked and more with the way you feel and what you could do with the way you were feeling,” she says.

The otherwise simple Balan, who got married in a small temple and has upma for lunch, adds, “We’re so many different things every day. I might find it difficult to be sexy in front of my parents, but I wouldn’t in front of the camera or whoever it is I need to be sexy with.”
