Sonam with Farhan: Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing the love interest of Farhan Akhtar in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the biopic on the former Indian athlete Milkha Singh. She's also teaming up with Ayushmann Khurana in YRF's next to be directed by Nupur Asthana. She will also be seen opposite Tamil actor Dhanush in Ranjhana.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and also stars Sonam Kapoor. Milkha Singh has sold the story for just one rupee. The remuneration from movie will be used for the benefit of needy athletes.
The name of the movie comes from the last words spoken by his father, which was to save his life from the riots during partition of India. During the partition, Milkha lost his family members. The story talks about his perseverance as an athlete and also as a courageous human spirit.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag shoot has been completed and its lead actor Farhan Akthar says he is feeling a sense of loss because the team will disperse now.
"As the shoot on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag crosses the finish line, enveloped by a sense of loss. The unit - our temporary commune - is broken up. Best wishes to all," tweeted the 38-year-old.

Farhan goes to Ladakh for Bhaag Milkha BhaagFarhan Akhtar has left for Ladakh for the shoot of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The second schedule of the film will last for 25 days.
Farhan has a close association with Ladakh as many years ago he had shot his second directorial venture Lakshya in the picturesque locales of Ladakh. The actor-director tweeted, "Leaving for BMB second sched. To the heavenly location called Ladakh. Mind racing back to time spent there 10 years ago, filming Lakshya." The actor later added, "Ladakh makes you realise how unbearable the sound of a car horn truly is.
