In the latest song from their upcoming film Rowdy Rathore, lead pair Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are seen getting jiggy and how! The song, titled Dhadang Dhadang, is catchy and very alive.
However, it's really the couple's chemistry in the song that works in its favour.

It begins with loud drum beats playing out (though it reminds a bit of My Name is Lakhan) while Sonakshi and Akshay seem busy dancing to the beats.
The song is catchy and it's the bindass attitude of the heroine, who gets as rowdy as the hero for a change instead of being coy and demure, that makes the song look fresh. No wonder they called Sonakshi's waist a chikni kamar.
Sonakshi Sinha looks rather nice in the outfits cleverly designed to hide her stomach, while Akshay is dressed in bright colours ranging from fuschia pink, to bright orange and turquoise blue. Surprisingly, they don't look too outlandish.
The song has been sung by Wajid & Shreya Ghoshal, the music has been composed by duo Sajid-Wajid and the lyrics have been written by Sameer Anjaan.
Verdict: You will listen to the song more than once.
