Actor Madhuri Dixit Nene, who shifted base to India from Denver, US, in October, says after initial adjustment problems, her family has settled in well.

“To be honest, both my husband and I always loved India. We wanted our kids to grow up with the values and environment we grew up with,”
says the 44-year-old who has two sons — Arin, 8, and Raayan, 6. “We thought this is the right time because the kids are young. My older son initially missed his old school friends. Now, both of them are doing well and are settling nicely,” she adds.

Madhuri will be seen next on the small screen as the sutradhaar of the new Hindi GEC channel, Life OK. “I  will appear everyday after a show, discussing the values shown on the show, without being preachy.” As for Bollywood, she says, “I am waiting for the right script. I am at the final stages of some script reading, but nothing’s been finalised yet.”
