We are at the brink of something path-breaking: Hrithik on Krrish 3

Hrithik Roshan will be seen in Krrish 3, which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut.
For months now, Hrithik Roshan has been keeping a low profile, as he has been concentrating on his next, Krrish 3. But the actor managed to take some time out of his packed schedule to attend the ongoing 12th edition of the International Film Festival of Marrakech in Morocco as four of his movies

are being screened here this week.
However, Krrish is not on that list. Confident that the franchise’s next installment will definitely find special mention on many such lists, he says, “Krrish should have been screened and it will make it here next year.”
Nonetheless, the actor is thrilled that four of his other films — Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Jodha Akbar (2008), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Agneepath — are being screened. “I just happened to be part of these films and I am very proud of them. It feels good,” he says.
Directed and produced by father Rakesh Roshan, Krrish 3 has been kept under wraps ever since the shooting began. But as per the actor, the secrecy will all pay off once the film hits the theatres. “It’s one of the biggest challenges for Indian cinema, because the computer graphics and the technology is all home-grown… it’s Indian. There is no foreign hand in the final product,” he says.
The third part of the series, which began with Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003, also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut. But even with the support of an established star cast, Hrithik seems unsure about the fate of the film. “It’s such a big leap of faith. Till now it looks impossible. The tone of the special effects, and the film itself, is so big that we don’t know whether we will be able to achieve what we are attempting or hoping to do. We may fall flat on our faces or we may not. Either way, I know that we are at the brink of something path-breaking,” says Hrithik.
