In a week’s time, Varun Dhawan and the leading ladies of his father David Dhawan’s film, Main Tera Hero, Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D’Cruz — will be off to Bangkok for a 20-day shoot schedule. And although a major chunk of the film will be canned in the Thai capital, one song is likely to be shot at the world-famous Full Moon Party. The all-night beach party takes place on the island of Ko Pha-Ngan on the night of, before or after every full moon.

“The idea is to showcase a never-seen-before spectacle in the film. Since the cast and crew will be in Bangkok for 20 days, the makers thought of making the best use of the opportunity and shooting certain portions at the famed bash. They are trying to get the necessary permissions. If the shoot at Ko Pha-Ngan’s Full Moon Party doesn’t work out, they will shoot at some similar bash that takes place on other Thai beaches,” says an insider close to the film.
If things work out, it would probably be the first time that a Bollywood song or film will be picturised at the party. Apparently, makers will be shooting the song at various locations. “The song is going to be sizzling. There will be a lot of skin show, beachwear and some hot chemistry between Varun and his leading ladies. It will be shot over four-five days,” adds the insider.
Despite repeated attempts, neither Varun nor David Dhawan could be reached for a comment.
