Ryan Reynolds snapped out of the chocolate boy next door image when he donned a beard showing him in a new avatar.
First-time producer Saurabh Varma has bought the rights of Hollywood film Buried (2010). A source close to Varma reveals that he is planning to rope in John Abraham or Abhishek Bachchan to play the lead in the Indian remake.

When contacted, Varma didn’t deny the news, but didn’t divulge
much. “We want an A-list actor for the lead. Right now we are looking to develop a good script because it is a Hollywood concept, and needs to be Indianised. We need some desi elements that are acceptable to the audience,” says Varma.

Apparently, he has also discussed the idea with Arjun Rampal. “It’s in a nascent stage. I will approach the actors once I have a bound script in hand,” says Varma, who feels it is his honest approach that got him the rights of the film. “I have been a fan of this film for a long time. I approached the studio with an idea and they liked it. It will be a commercial film. It’s a challenge for any actor to keep audiences engrossed for 120 minutes.”

Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds starred in the original, which is about a US truck driver working in Iraq. After an attack, he finds himself buried inside a coffin with a lighter and a cell phone and tries to escape this death trap.
