Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Ek Tha Tiger directed by Kabir Khan has been making headlines ever since its announcement. And now that it's finally released on Independence Day, it's no suprise that fans are going berserk over it.
Wonder why Salman Khan alone promoted Ek Tha Tiger on Sunday? Well, the actor's ex-flame and Ek Tha Tiger co-star Katrina Kaif was suffering from a severe bout of food poisoning and couldn't make it to any of the events despite strong medication, reports Mumbai Mirror.
While Katrina had
to stay back at her hotel room, director Kabir Khan and Salman Khan promoted the film at various events. A doctor was arranged for the pretty actress.
"Katrina was looking pretty pale when she walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at the ongoing fashion week. She slept off early that night. The next morning, on Sunday, her health worsened. She had a bad tummy and couldn't make it for the promotions slated for the day," a source told the tabloid.
Apparently, few days back Katrina couldn't stop herself from gorging on some festive food with friends Mini Mathur, Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Khan. This could be the reason why the lady's stomach got upset.

"The doctor prescribed strong dosage. But her health did not improve even in the evening. Otherwise she surely would have attended some parts of the promotions in Delhi," a source was quoted by the tabloid.
Katrina would only be available for promotions if her health improves. "If her health permits, she surely will. But on Sunday, she was barely able to stand," the actress' friend told the Mumbai tabloid.
