Actor Anushka Sharma
says it is unfair that heroines are perceived frivilous enough to only indulge in catfights. “I hate the way people see heroines. My irritation is not about who they are making me fight with, but how they perceive me. We are not in high school to be picking fights all the time,” says the actor, who was in the Capital to promote Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. Anushka says that on the contrary, there are more undercurrents between Bollywood heroes. “Why are men not pitted against each other? Actually, there is more competition among the guys. But, it is always portrayed that the women in Bollywood can’t see eye to eye.” Denying recent reports that she took nasty digs at rival actor Deepika Padukone,
Anushka adds, “I have no issues with Deepika or anyone in the industry. Why would I? I am here to work and I have worked bl***y hard to reach where I am.”
Anushka Sharma looked a glam diva even in simple casual clothes. Perhaps, the lips have something to do with it!
