Actress Mallika Sherawat has chosen promotion of her upcoming movie Dirty Politics over attending a party in US where President Barack Obama was also invited as it is the "most important film in my life". She said she skipped the dinner at the party that was to be attended by Obama.

"I have received threats. There was a call that my brother received, saying "tell your sister to stay away from this topic and from the film". I think these kinds of threats will be issued," Mallika Sherawat said.
