Day 5 of the ongoing Osian's Cinefan Film Festival of Indian, Asian and Arab cinema was comparatively low on footfall courtesy the rain in the Capital. The gala was however, high on seminars that discussed Delhi's prospects as India's next film city.
While the festival went on at Siri
Fort Auditorium, the seminars were held at NCUI building with speakers such as filmmakers Imtiaz Ali and Shekhar Kapur, apart from others. Kapur compared Delhi to the 1930s of Paris and said that the provocative culture of the Capital is necessary for artist's creativity. Ali, who shot his last film Rockstar here, said that the multi-layered culture of the city attracts him.
Director Imtiaz Ali also attended the screening.
