Actor Kalki Koechlin, 28, who shot to fame with critically acclaimed Dev.D, has managed to carve a niche for herself. Koechlin, who married filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in May this year, is enjoying every moment of her life right now. Read on as she talks about her upcoming projects, married life, pregnancy and much more during her visit to Gurgaon, to promote her latest release Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, also starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar.

On pregnancy

I am not pregnant

KalkiOn married life

Marriage hasn’t changed anything between us. We had been living together for two years before we took the plunge. I’m the man in the relationship... Anurag is a bachcha and I’m less cynical than him

On Delhi

I want to see more of Delhi. I think the Capital’s art scene is great and would like to explore it

On bonding with the ZNMD team

Though I was quite nervous in the beginning, I bonded very well with the entire cast of the movie. They have been very supportive.

Upcoming projects

I am working in Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai and am paired opposite Emraan Hashmi in it. It’s a very heavy role which was very emotionally draining. Then, That Girl In Yellow Boots is also finally releasing now

On her character

I play the character of Natasha, a young and rich South Bombay girl. She is very fashionable and classy. To be honest, she is quite opposite to who real Kalki is

On problems with Katrina

There’s never been a problem between us. I’m sad and hurt by what media reported, without bothering to even check with me. I didn’t even had time to see my husband forget about fighting with Kat
