Singer Cheryl Cole admits she learnt how to make better fashion choices only after experimenting with her looks and understanding what suits her and what does not.

"It's hard to know how to dress sometimes. I learnt the hard way that, just because something looks nice on someone else, it doesn't mean it'll work for your height, size and figure," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Cole as saying.

"I tried and failed miserably in my teenage years, but now I know to take things as inspiration and adapt them to work for me," she said.
