Singer and musician Jon Bon Jovi arrives at "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" awards show in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 50-year-old vocalist has been recruited as the spokesmodel to front the brand's upcoming campaigns for its new Unplugged perfumes, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Avon, and the Avon
Foundation for Women, have given support and a voice to those in need for decades. Their philosophy of empowerment sends a strong message and I'm pleased to partner them," Jon said.
The fragrances are inspired by passion, soulfulness and intensity; the men's version will have a woody note while the women's will be oriental.
Lily DeStefano, Vice President of Avon North America Beauty said the Bon Jovi rocker was the perfect person to have on board.
"Jon's music and philanthropic work celebrate independence and optimism, two beautiful qualities that radiate from within. The Unplugged scents evoke an emotional connection - something Jon inspires in audiences around the world," he said.
