Lady Gaga kicked off her world tour in Seoul on April 27 and covered Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
In the picture, shot by Steven Klein, the pop singer is lying down sans any clothes, with tiny, miniature men shown stuck to various parts of her body. The photograph, aesthetically shot in a black and white tone, has Lady Gaga holding the perfume bottle in her hand, showing it off while those tiny men are feasting on her ravishing body.
The men are shown climbing on her body, desperately trying to reach her- which matched with the advertorial spirit of the fragrance, Fame.
It is being interpreted that the photograph indicates that people get attracted to fame, which can be fragrance or popularity of an individual.
Before tweeting the picture for the netizens, Lady Gaga was anticipating the remarks her picture would receive.
She tweeted, 'i won't lie I'm a bit nervous. its been a while since i've shared some work with you. But i'm so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!'
