US singer-songwriter Madonna, 53, looked startling in an all-black ensemble at the UK premiere of her film W.E.

Dressed in a Jean Paul Gaultier velvet gown, Dolce & Gabbana lace cape and red fingerless gloves, all eyes were on the queen of pop at the premiere.

Her blonde locks were left open as usual. She accessorised her attire with a diamond bracelet and earrings. Eye-liner and bright red lipstick completed her look.

Andrea Riseborough and Natalie Dormer also graced the premiere. While Riseborough was dressed in a halter-style floor-length maroon dress, Dormer played it safe in a black knee-length outfit.

Madge has directed, co-written and co-produced the film. The film is a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.
