From quaint fondue sets to traditional hand paper towel holders, A Not So Casual Kitchen showcases a variety of designs for those who are interested in cooking in style. The exhibition, which is being touted as “India’s first show on kitchen art”, has been curated by Chanda Chaudhary, the founder
and publisher of The Fuschia Tree, an online art magazine.

She has roped in the expertise of a wide variety of talent. Designer Adarsh Gill has created a line of tableware. Anantaya Décor, a store from Jaipur that works with traditional crafts and supports villages is bringing decor items and other utility kitchen objects. A vintage collection of graters, ladles, jugs and pots will be presented by Anemos — The Design Floor. Graphic designers Krupa Sheth and Kruti Berawala have created a range of posters.

The pricing of the items start at R350. Attend the show from February 22 to February 24 at Anemas, Krishna House, Ground Floor, Raghuvanshi Estate, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel. Call 2493 4306 for details.
