Angelina Jolie, who transformed herself into a man in her latest movie Salt, fooled son Maddox with the get-up. The actor spent hours donning fake ears, a fake nose and a latex neck to achieve the look, and then invited her nine-year-old son to the set. The effect was so convincing that Maddox did not recognise her despite spending several minutes talking to her. “I invited Maddox to come and say hi and didn’t tell him who I was. When he realised it was me he was just freaking out,” said Jolie.

In the film, an action thriller, the 35-year-old actor plays CIA operative Evelyn Salt, who is accused of being a Russian spy. Incidentally, the star was even criticised by a psychiatrist for the prank.
