Anne Hathaway will star in Steven Spielberg's next sci-fi blockbuster, Robopocalypse, she confirmed to British magazine Empire. After The Dark Knight Rises this summer, Anne Hathaway will take the lead female part in the movie, along with Ben Whishaw (Skyfall) who also confirmed his presence,
while Australian actor Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is still in talks for the male lead.

It will be Spielberg's first big-budget disaster movie since War of the Worlds seven years ago.
Based on a novel by Daniel H. Wilson, Robopocalypse will pit the human race against its own robots and other electronic devices that are controlled by a sentient artificial intelligence named Archos. The movie is due out on April 25, 2014, in North America.
