Here's the ultimate delight for comic fans and action lovers!
According to Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros plans to release the film based on the DC's landmark comic Justice League around the same time as the sequel to Marvel's Avengers. You know what that means right!
It means that there's a possibility that Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman may get pitted against none other than Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow!
Marvel Studios' The Avengers starring Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson among others, released this year and did well at the box office worldwide, around the same time that Batman film The Dark Knight Rises was released.
However, all other films based on DC comics characters have been unsuccessful at the box office so far, Los Angeles Times reported. With films like Green Lantern flopping and others starring Wonder Woman and Flash still under construction, hopefully Justice League will turn the luck for Warner Bros.
The renowned movie studio only recently won a legal battle over rights to Superman character and are probably glad they can include their most valuable superhero in the Justice League.
Meanwhile, teasers of Zack Snyder's Superman film Man of Steel with Henry Cavill as the legendary superhero have started created a buzz already. Incidentally, Batman franchise director Christopher Nolan has now turned producer for the Superman franchise.
While Avengers 2 is slated to release on May 2015, Justice League's first film is also expected to release in the summer of 2015. We know what you're thinking...we too, can hardly wait!
