Variety has reported that Dutch actress Carice van Houten will join Benedict Cumberbatch for a movie about activist Julian Assange.
Van Houten, who was discovered in "Black Book" (2006), has joined the cast of Bill Condon's new film about Wikileaks. The film will go behind the scenes of the
site, which specializes in divulging confidential diplomatic information.

Benedict Cumberbatch ("Sherlock") will play the lead role in the as-yet-untitled film. Daniel Brühl ("Inglourious Basterds") and Alicia Vikander ("A Royal Affair") will also feature in this drama being prepared by DreamWorks.

Variety added that Carice van Houten will play a journalist who has become the site's representative. Filming will take place sometime in 2013.
