Clooney eyes Jean Dujardin for upcoming drama

The Artist actor Jean Dujardin strikes a pose as he looks dapper as ever.
Dujardin's Oscar-winning performance in The Artist could land him a supporting role in the Clooney-directed movie. The Monument's Men will revolve around the inception of a team of experts who try to get their hands on works of art that were stolen by the Nazis during World War II.

On top
of his directing duties, George Clooney will also star in the film. Along with Dujardin, Cate Blanchett and Paul Giamatti have also been mentioned. According to the website, they could respectively portray Rose Valland, a historical figure of the French Resistance, and American art conoisseur and writer Lincoln Kirsten.

The film is based on a book by Robert M. Edsel. Production is set to start in various European locations in spring 2013.
