Fan Bingbing joins the X-Men cast

Director Bryan Singer has announced via Twitter (@BryanSinger) that the Chinese actress and singer will play Blink in the next installment of the saga, X Men: Days of Future Past. The Chinese actress will play Blink, a superheroine who can teleport. She will be part of a prestigious cast

that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Omar Sy.

Proud director Bryan Singer posted a picture of the actors' portraits hanging on a wall on Twitter with the caption "3 Oscars, 6 Golden Globes, 1 BAFTA, 2 Emmys, 2 Tonys, 5 Oliviers, 1 César. Now let's blow s**t up!"

In X-Men: Days of Future Past which is expected in July 2014, the heroes will go back into some of the X-Men's pasts to stop an assassination that will herald a bleak future for mutants. Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender will share the part of Magneto and Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy will share the part of Professor Charles Xavier.
