The first full-length trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, starring Dwayne Johnson (Journey 2), Bruce Willis (Red), and the return of Channing Tatum (21 Jump Street) to the franchise, was released at the CinemaCon conference for theater exhibitors.
With a shot of bug-like flying weapons
exploding and the revelation that the government has been infiltrated, the G.I. Joe team gathers to go in search of “the reason we call ourselves Joes” -- the character played by Bruce Willis.
In this sci-fi action film, directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3D), the remaining Joes who weren’t assassinated in the last installment gather to strike the enemy.
The film will be released June 21-22 in Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Turkey, followed by North American and Vietnam on June 29 and in July and August in Europe, Asia and other markets.
