French actor and model Gaspard Ulliel is hardly recognizable in the first poster of Saint Laurent, Bertrand Bonello's biopic about the legendary French fashion designer.

Following the release of images from Yves Saint Laurent, a rival French production now in shooting with Pierre Niney, the

Mandarin Cinéma production company has released a teaser poster for Saint Laurent starring Gaspard Ulliel.

Saint Laurent, which focuses on the designer's breakthrough at the end of the 1960s, is being directed by Bertrand Bonello (House of Tolerance). Gaspard Ulliel will be acting alongside the Belgian Jérémie Renier who will be playing Pierre Bergé.

Jalil Lespert is currently filming rival movie Yves Saint Laurent, a WY Productions project supported by Pierre Bergé. Pierre Niney plays the designer in the feature-length movie which will take a closer look at YSL's career. Guillaume Gallienne, Charlotte Le Bon and Moritz Bleibtreu will star as Pierre Bergé, Victoire and Karl Lagerfeld.
