Kelsey Grammer and Claire Danes won the Golden Globe award for best actor and actress respectively in a television series drama. Grammer walked away with the golden trophy for Boss while Danes was given the award for Homeland. Laura Dern was awarded the Golden Globe for best performance by an actress in a television series comedy or musical for Enlightened and Friends star Matt LeBlanc took home the same award in the male category for Episodes.
