Grammy Award winner Norah Jones is all set for her fifth album Little Broken Hearts which will be released in May. On her birthday, here's a look at her musical journey.
American singer Norah Jones will sing Everybody Needs a Best Friend, from the Ted soundtrack, during the 85th Academy Awards ceremony on February 24. The 33-year-old actress and singer will perform one of the five tunes in the Best Original Song category, during the most watched film
event of the year.

Norah Jones co-wrote the lyrics for Everybody Needs a Best Friend with Seth MacFarlane, who directed the comedy she also featured in. McFarlane is hosting the Oscars ceremony.

Jones will perform along with other stars, including Adele, who will sing the Skyfall theme -- nominated in the same category -- live for the first time.

Other musical acts include a tribute to Chicago, Dreamgirls and Les Misérables.

Tom Hooper's adaptation of Victor Hugo's work is competing for eight trophies, including Best Original Song with Suddenly.
