British actress Marcel, who wrote the pilot for the Terra Nova TV series and upcoming Walt Disney biopic Saving Mr. Banks,
will script the movie about the steamy relationship between 22-year old virgin Anastasia Steele and sexually adventurous billionaire Christian Grey, 27.
Aside from this official announcement, rumors about the project abound. Some of them point to Angelina Jolie taking on directing duties and to Ryan Gosling and Aaron Johnson in the title role.
The bestselling trilogy has sold more than thirty million copies worldwide.
