With what seems to be the latest trend in trailers, a 15-second preview to the teaser trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2, due in theaters this weekend, was released March 20.
In an effort to stretch out the end of the franchise, Twilight's first trailer for the
much-anticipated finale will be shown before the latest teen film sensation, The Hunger Games releasing this week, marking the beginning of a new era marked by a post-apocalyptic setting instead of the world of vampires.
Breaking Dawn is touted to be bolder and wilder than all the earlier parts.
In this sneak peek, Bella travels at vampire speed, Jacob doesn't expect to recognize his friend and Edward compares temperatures with his new wife. The ‘full-length' trailer will be available March 26.
Based on the last part of the last book in the trilogy by Stephenie Meyer, the film's stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, return after the birth of Renesmee as the Cullens and vampire clans protect the child from the Volturi. Also stars Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, Maggie Grace, and Peter Facinelli.
Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is scheduled for theaters on November 14-16 worldwide, with a few markets including Germany, Sweden and Singapore following on November 22-23.
