Michel Hazanavicius's The Artist, which bagged the maximum Golden Globe nominations this year, walked away with the best motion picture - musical or comedy award at the ceremony here.

The French romantic drama, about a silent movie star George Valentin and his insecurity about the arrival
of talking pictures, won the award against 50/50, Bridesmaids, Midnight In Paris and My Week With Marilyn.

Ludovic Bource won the best original score - motion picture for the same film.
