A new trailer has been released for the fantasy film led by Saoirse Ronan based on Stephenie Meyer's novel.
The Host, which is expected in the spring, will combine two of novelist Stephenie Meyer's favorite themes: fantasy and romance.
This time, the Twilight author will
replace vampires and werewolves with parasites from space in a blockbuster primarily aimed at younger audiences.
The new trailer also focuses on Saoirse Ronan's performance as Melanie Stryder.
The Irish actress plays the main character in the story, a human who is captured and infected by extraterrestrials called the Souls, led by Diane Kruger.
The determined young girl will refuse to be a passive host and will do everything she can to get back to her family.
Max Irons, Jake Abel and William Hurt will also feature in this Andrew Niccol film (Gattaca, Time Out).
The film will be released in North America on March 29.
