Warner Brothers said it was "deeply saddened" by Friday's massacre at a Colorado screening of its latest Batman movie, as it reportedly cancelled a red-carpet premiere in Paris.
"Warner Brothers is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident," the studio said in a
statement.
"We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time."
The Hollywood Reporter, a trade journal, said Friday's scheduled gala premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in Paris had been cancelled, along with media events with director Christopher Nolan and cast members.
