Judging television reality show X Factor India along with recording performing at the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) awards ceremony seems quite a along with the regular recordings clearly did not seem enough for Sonu Nigam as he has now collaborated with Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine for a tribute to the King of Pop.
"Jermaine had come to Mumbai for one of my concerts around the time Michael had just passed away. We met for dinner and I played him some of my compositions, which was when he expressed the desire to be part of the song. The song is called This Is It."
Sonu and Jermaine will perform the song together at the IIFA awards for the first time in Toronto, Canada on June 24 - the eve of MJ's death anniversary.
"I am humbled that Jermaine and I will perform together for this tribute to Michael in Toronto," Sonu added.
The ace singer who is also judging the show X Factor India along with Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali feels the show doesn't need to prove anything.
"People were asking how X Factor was different before it was telecast but now I think the success of the show speaks for itself. For once, the judges may have different opinions but they're not fighting like the other shows."
While Sonu does seem to have a lot on the platter, we are sure there's lots more to come and this is not just it!
