If you thought that all the hype-n-hooplah about the Saif-Kareena wedding has finally ended, then you have to take a walk through the cracker markets, this year. Ranging from flower pots to sky shooters, boxes with pictures of the newly-wed are hot sellers this Diwali.

“Pictures of film stars make the crackers attractive and with Kareena’s wedding in news, fans come asking for these,” says Shyam Lal, owner of a cracker shop here. Running close, after Kareena is Priyanka Chopra. Fans credit the sales of the PeeCee patakha to her first music album, In My City. “She has made a fitting come back with her new single. She is all over, even on the crackers,” says 25-year-old Manish Khanna, who had come to shop for crackers. “Glamour really sells,” says Rajan Sardana, another shopkeeper. A non-believer in that theory, shopkeeper Tanay bijoria however, says, "Log hero- heroine ke chakkar main quality ko bhool jaate hain." Other cracker faces this year include Sonakshi Sinha and TV actor Mona Singh, actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Dia Mirza and Katrina Kaif. Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta from Koi Mil Gaya and Akshay Kumar and Katrina from Tees Maar Khan also continue to be on stands.
