Adele is also the first female artist to have three singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, and the first female artist to have two albums in the top five of the Billboard 200 and two singles in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously.
Singer Adele has been honoured for her airplay success in the US after her hit song Rolling In The Deep emerged as one of the most frequently played songs on radio. The track notched up 1.35 million performances in one six-month period last year, and to date has been broadcast more than two million
times, the Mirror reported. It was the most played song in the US in 2011 among artists registered with royalties body Broadcast Music Inc (BMI).
