Here’s what these four emerging stars of the music scene had to say about Delhi, its music and their future projects.

Harshdeep Kaur, singer
The melody and composition of a song is what interests her the most. Known for her numbers such as Katiya Karun from Rockstar, Jugni from Cocktail and Heer from  Jab Tak Hai Jaan among others, this Dilli ki kudi is much in love with the city. A regular in DU’s fests, she loves to perform here.

Delhi is synonymous with...
Bhangra! Chahe koi bhi gaane baja lo, party ke end mein sab Punjabi music pe hi naachte hain.

Which song lifts up your mood?
Nirmohiya. This song is one of my favorites.

The number you would listen to when you are sad?
It has to be Rehna Tu from Dilli 6. The song has a soulful feel.

What is keeping you busy these days?
I’m working on a couple of songs these days. I feel blessed to have worked with the best of musicians of the film industry.
