Since its inception 100 years ago, the Hindi film industry has grown in stature and has been instrumental in giving budding artists a platform to showcase their talent. From providing entertainment, moral lessons, showcasing a hero’s struggle, to blossoming love stories; Bollywood has witnessed it all.
FM radio channel Fever 104 is set to present a special tribute to Bollywood through its latest campaign — 100 hours, 100 stars, which kicks off from 8am today and will go on till May 31.
Every hour, actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, among others, will be heard for the next five days. “Never before has a radio station managed to get top 100 stars under one roof, and I am glad to be living this reality. I am looking forward to interview the who’s who of Bollywood. It is going to be an absolute treat for any cinema lover,” says RJ Khurafati Nitin.

“During my formative years, three actors influenced me tremendously… Balraj Sahni, Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. For me, these three have been absolute pillars of the Industry,” says actor Shah Rukh Khan.
“In these years we have done a lot of progress, at least for the society. Earlier, film stars were looked down upon in the society, but now we have reached a stage where children from well-off families aspire to become a part of the industry,” says veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
