Korn can’t wait to jam with India this week

New metal fans, get ready to whip your hair and head bang. Popular American band Korn will make their first ever performance in India this week. “This is going to be a historic show,” promises James ‘Munky’ Shaffer, their guitarist.Korn will tour Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bengaluru on September 5, 7 and 9 respectively, as part of the concerts brought to India by Mooz Entertainment.

While fans are excited by the news, the members of Korn too, look forward to jam with Indian artists.“We are big fans of Indian music, and some of the biggest and most talented artists are from India. The scales are different from Western scales, so it’s very interesting,” says Shaffer. When here, the band also plans to visit good old Taj Mahal as well as what they call ‘The Golden Palace’ (The Golden Temple, Amritsar).
