Actor-turned-singer Priyanka Chopra, 31, will now get a chance to woo soccer fans, not in person but through her singing. Exotic, her latest single with American rapper Pitbull, has been chosen as the theme song for the 2013 Guinness International Champions Cup that kicks off in Valencia, Spain on July 27.

“I’m really excited that Exotic has been named the official theme song for the 2013 Guinness International Champions Cup. As a new artist, it’s such an honour when an organisation chooses to use my music as their anthem,” says Priyanka.

The song will be played throughout the week-long soccer tournament, the participating clubs for which include Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus and LA Galaxy.

“Last season, my track, In My City, was released exclusively to the NFL (National Football League) as the featured song for the network’s Thursday Night Football series, and I would definitely be open to collaborating with other organisations in the future,” she adds.
