Nine-time Grammy winning singer Norah Jones, who gave her maiden performance in the Capital on Tuesday, thanked Delhi, desi style. She kicked off her much awaited show with the number ‘Happy Pills’ from her latest album, Little Broken Hearts. “This is our second show in India and we are having a
lot of fun."

Shukriya, for having us here,” she said while addressing her fans, even as she chose not to talk about her dad, sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, who passed away last year. The sold out show, which lasted for about 90 minutes, included numbers like ‘What Am I To You’, ‘Say Goodbye’, ‘Take It Back’, and others.

The show also saw singer-songwriter M Ward play some of his popular numbers such as ‘Chinese Translation’ and ‘Primitive Girl’. Norah ended her set with her biggest hit, and what her fans had been waiting to hear all night, ‘Come Away With Me’. Jones will end her three-city Indian tour in Bangalore tomorrow.
