Aamir Khan's debut show Satyamev Jayate was all about the common man.
Reports recently revealed that the NGO Snehalay’s new centre in Ahmednagar will be dedicated to Aamir Khan’s TV show — Satyamev Jayate — and thus called Satyamev Bhavan. While Aamir is not associated with the organisation, he will be inaugurating it on Republic Day. And now, we’ve been informed that
the actor’s company, Aamir Khan Productions, has even taken on the responsibility of arranging for the entertainment at the event.

A source close to the actor reveals, “The NGO told Aamir that roughly 3,000 people were expected to attend the inaugural ceremony.

When he asked them how they had planned to keep the crowd entertained, they didn’t have anything in mind. That’s when Aamir offered to help.”

Singers Ram Sampath, Sona Mohapatra and Swanand Kirkire, who were actively involved with the show, have now been roped in to perform at the launch.

“Aamir thought this was the least he could do to help them out. The NGO works towards eradicating issues that women face and helping victims. That’s something Aamir feels strongly about, which is why he wants to support the cause in every way he can.”
