In a video posted on the page, Bachchan said it was another attempt from his side to come closer to his fans.
"I am now on Facebook.... Year after year, month after month, day after day, we just keep coming closer to each other. Lovely to have you here and we shall be seeing each other and you will be getting to know more about me and my daily activities through this wonderful medium," Bachchan said in a video message.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recorded a special song for the sixth season of hit game show Kaun Banega Crorepati and he says he had butterflies in his stomach while recording with Bollywood composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.
The 69-year-old actor said that the mock rehearsals for KBC has began as the show is ready to go on air from September 7.

KBC 2012 to be back in prime time slot
Amitabh Bachchan would be soon seen in KBC 6. Game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, to be hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan yet again, will be back in its prime time slot, channel officials said Tuesday.
