As reports of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray’s deteriorating health brought the city to a grinding halt, the film industry too decided to call off most shoots taking place in and around Mumbai.
“Ninety per cent of the shoots were either cancelled or postponed indefinitely when the
channels started running the news that his condition has worsened,” says an insider.
The shoot of Karan Johar’s film was cancelled while singer Lata Mangeshkar’s music event was postponed.
