Actor Tanushree Dutta doesn’t have any account on popular social networking platforms like Facebook or Twitter. “I would like to tell everybody that I am not on Facebook or Twitter,” says the 29-year-old, who recently lodged a complaint against an imposter who created a fake account in her name on a social networking site.
“Be careful, because today too many fake accounts are being created with actors’ names and there is no record of the kind of stuff such people are putting in those fake accounts,” she says.
Talking about the imposter, Tanushree says, “When I came across my fake account, I found that it had 5,000 to 6,000 friends. Just think about it. In my life time, I have never had as many friends as that fake account had.” When asked about her decision of staying away from social networking sites, the actor says, “I am not very comfortable with Facebook and Twitter, and that’s why I’ve kept myself away from such things.”
A former beauty queen, Tanushree made her acting debut with Aashiq Banaya Aapne in 2005. She was last seen in the 2010 film, Rokkk, but promises to make a comeback soon.
