Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan
As superstorm Sandy continues to wreak havoc in America, celebrities in Hollywood and Bollywood are praying for the well being of those who are suffering. Many took to Twitter to express their concern over the killer hurricane. On Thursday evening, actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted,
“Hurricane ‘Sandy’ still huge cause of concern .. satellite pictures look so frightening .. be safe everyone!!”

Bipasha Basu wrote, “Sometimes mother nature can show its rage.Hurricane Sandy a big concern! Praying.”

PriyankaActor Priyanka Chopra was expected to fly to New York on Tuesday. “As of now, Priyanka’s flight has not been cancelled and she is travelling to New York. We are observing the situation there closely,” her spokesperson said. American celebs, too, sent their prayers.

“Hello #Sandy. Please be nice,” wrote singer Fergie. “Flying home from east coast and #Sandy . Wish I could bring all in harms way with me. #StaySafe,” wrote actor Rob Lowe. “ Praying #Sandy doesn’t do too much damage & everyone stays safe,” tweeted actor Josh Duhamel.
